About Me

I am half Swiss and half American, I have spent most of my life in Switzerland and only recently moved to the US. While I love living in the US, I was fortunate to experience Switzerland’s deep commitment to environmental conservation. Switzerland's breathtaking landscapes, pristine lakes, and efficient public transport systems have instilled in me a profound respect for the natural world.

One of the most important lessons I learned during my time in Switzerland was the importance of sustainable practices. Whether it was recycling, using clean energy sources, or enjoying the great outdoors responsibly, these practices were ingrained in our daily lives. The Swiss reverence for nature is something I now carry with me in the US.

Living in the US has shown me the incredible diversity of environmental attitudes and policies. While there are many commendable efforts to protect the environment, I've also encountered challenges and disparities. It's made me realize that environmental consciousness can greatly vary, and there's much work to be done.

I've learned that every individual's actions can make a difference, no matter where they are. While I might miss the Swiss commitment to environmental preservation, I am dedicated to promoting sustainable practices and raising awareness here in the US. We all share this planet, and it's crucial that we collectively strive to protect and preserve it for future generations
